What does Candy Land and Dragon Ball Z all have in common? They are going to be feature films this year or next year. I dont lie. Im sure you have even seen the commercial for Dragon Ball Z. I didnt belie it until i saw it, here you go if you’re a little late:
(really took forever to find)
This was all the boys favorite TV show when I was in elementary school. I remember watching it on Cartoonnetwork myself, back when cartoonnetwork was worth watching. The thing that really pisses me off is that they are not staying to the actual story they are just using some white boy and some Asian guy, the powers and costumes. It makes no since.Maybe I just never understood what the show was about, which is possible but it just looks and feels like nothing related to the show. They took some main characters and ran away with it.

Now as they continue to pimp our favorite childhood cartoons, they will also make movies from our beloved Board Games. How do you even make a movie from a board game? Well apperently, Universal has hired Tropic Thunder and Sherlock Holmes screenwriter Etan Cohen to write the screenplay and EnchantedKevin Lima to direct. WHY?
Doesn’t this just sound stupid. Didnt they learn when they made Cat in the Hat that these are just bad ideas….I guess they will never learn.
